Event Description
Welcome to 4-H and Paducah (October 6th)
Join us for a special welcome event hosted by 4-H and the McCracken County Public Library to discover local resources in Paducah that can support you on your journey. This event is all about helping you connect with your community and find the tools you need to succeed.
Basic Computer Skills and Resume Building (November 3rd)
Learn essential computer skills while creating your own resume. Plus, find out how you can enter your resume as a project in the County Fair where every fair project earns you money. It will can also be used for International Exchange Programs through 4-H.
Public Speaking Practice (December 1st)
Share your family favorite recipe by presenting it to fellow attendees. Build your confidence by practicing public speaking. You can even compete in our county’s 4-H speech competition held in Paducah making this a perfect opportunity to improve your language skills and presentation abilities.
Finding Resources on Topics You Care About (January 5th)
Discover how to find reliable information and resources on topics that spark your interest. This session will help you become more independent and confident in learning new things. It will also help you explore topics that you may not experience every day.
Learn New Languages Through Topics You Love (February 2nd)
Improve your language skills while exploring subjects that matter to you. This interactive session combines language learning with your personal interests for a fun and effective experience.
