Bring your work in progress to share - a short story, essay, memoir, or chapter from a novel (please limit to 4 typed pages or less). Get feedback from your peers and writing tips from an award-winning author. Improve your writing craft and reach your writing goals by sharing in a non-threatening, constructive environment. Please bring 4 photocopies for participants to read. This group will meet two times, Sept. 11th and 25th. You may want to bring a lunch or snack.

Join us for 2 nights filled with disaster preparedness and prevention for homeowners and families. We will dive into topics related to all-hazards prevention and response for people and their property. Both sessions are not required but encouraged.

It's My Very Own provides "Bags of Love" to children in our community who are displaced.  Join this group as they sew handmade bags to hold contents for children's immediate needs.

FREE one-hour Laugh and Learn Playdate every month for you and your child(ren) to engage in playful activities that are designed to prepare them for kindergarten. Adults and children will hear stories, sing songs, make crafts, play games, and enjoy a healthy snack during every playdate. Be sure to sign up and mark your calendars with the following dates so you and your child(ren) can together build the skills they will need to best prepare them for school. NOT MEETING IN JULY.

Everything you always wanted to know about scrapbooking and paper crafting. Bring your photos, scissors, and your favorite adhesive.  If you don't have scissors and adhesives, we will provide it.  Beginners and advanced scrapbookers welcome!
