Loon Lake Wall Hanging
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceIn this 3-day beginners class, you will make a very simple wall hanging using your backing fabric. It involves raw edge applique, guilting, and binding. A kit with everything you need will be provided so all you need to bring is an eagerness to learn! Registration is $20 (The wall hanging is 15" x 13").
*Experience needed: Recent experience using a sewing machine.
Adult Sewing

Chair Yoga
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceGet moving in the new year! Join us for Chair Yoga every Wednesday beginning on January 15th from 10 - 11 am. This low-impact class will be led by certified instructor, Suzi Renaud. There is a $3 fee for each session. Just show up, no registration is needed! Pay at the door.
Tech Class - Spreadsheets II
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceGoogle Sheets is a free online program similar to Excel. We'll look at a spreadsheet template, review the menu options, and discuss the uses of spreadsheets. This is a beginner's class, so if you don't know what spreadsheets are or why you would ever want one, this is for you!
Next month's Tech Class will be Spreadsheets II.
Arts and Crafts: Costume Jewelry Angel
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceCome create an angel made of old costume jewelry pieces. Bring anything you have at home that you care to use such as single earrings, broken bracelets, pins, brooches, charms, and watches. Participants will piece together on a canvas suitable for framing.
Each participant needs to bring a small tube of E6000 glue, available at any craft store.
Cost of class is $8 (Pay at door)

Bags of Love
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceIt's My Very Own provides "Bags of Love" to children in our community who are displaced. Join this group as they sew handmade bags to hold contents for children's immediate needs.
This group meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. DECEMBER CLASS IS CANCELLED
Laugh and Learn
- McCracken County Public LibraryFREE one-hour Laugh and Learn Playdate every month for you and your child(ren) to engage in playful activities that are designed to prepare them for kindergarten. Adults and children will hear stories, sing songs, make crafts, play games, and enjoy a healthy snack during every playdate. Be sure to sign up and mark your calendars with the following dates so you and your child(ren) can together build the skills they will need to best prepare them for school.
Scrapbooking
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceEverything you always wanted to know about scrapbooking and paper crafting. Bring your photos, scissors, and your favorite adhesive. If you don't have scissors and adhesives, we will provide it. Beginners and advanced scrapbookers welcome!
This club meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9 am - 3 pm. Bring your own lunch and drink!

Game Day meets on the 1st Tuesday and the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 9 am to noon.
