Creative Writers' Critique Group
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceBring your work in progress to share - a short story, essay, memoir, or chapter from a novel (please limit to 4 typed pages or less). Get feedback from your peers and writing tips from an award-winning author. Improve your writing craft and reach your writing goals by sharing in a non-threatening, constructive environment. Please bring 4 photocopies for participants to read. This group will meet two times, Sept. 11th and 25th. You may want to bring a lunch or snack.
CharmGello Genesis Quilt
- McCracken County Cooperative Extension ServiceConstruct a beautiful quilt by sewing together 5" squares. By sewing the squares together in a systematic order, incredible designs and patterns can be created. The technique is perfect for beginners and experienced quilters. The cost of the class is $25 (Pay at the door). In addition, each participant is required to bring pre-cut 5" squares.
8 Colors - 11 Charm Squares (5" squares) of each color. The end result is a 36" x 42" quilt. This class will begin on Sept. 26th and finish up on Sept. 29th.
For an additional $25 per person, required pre-cut fabric will be provided with advance notice.
